Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) data for two-component micro-powder injection molding process

Abstract

Description

The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis was conducted by using TA Instruments Q2000 to measure the melting temperatures of the palm stearin and low-density polyethylene binders. This DSC analysis was carried out under nitrogen ambience with a flow rate of 50 ml/min. These data is important from the viewpoint of setting the appropriate mixing temperature as it requires to be greater than the melting temperatures of the employed binders to achieve homogeneous feedstocks during the two-component micro-powder injection molding process.
